Masquerade Rules

This is the Code of Conduct, or CoC. These arethe rules and regulations that every member must follow to the word. As much as that seems strict and mean, it's quite very simple.

1. Links, videos and pictures.
The posting of inapropreate pictures, videos or posting pictures, be they excessively violent, vulgar or pornographic will not be tolerated and may result in a temporary or permanent ban. Remember; this forum is for people of all ages.

2. Posting
Posting shouldn't be a problem, hopefully. First off, no swearing in your posts. Swearing can be the worst problem we get. I might allow th occasionnal hell, damn or crap, but nothing worse than that. Even in stories, either rewrite them without swears or censore them. Spam can be the worst problem, and no, I'm not talking about the lunch meat. I hate double posting, even though just the occasionnal bump is alright, try not to do excessive spamming. Spamming can also be a small, useless post like "Cool", or "Thanks" and nothing else. I would like posts to be minimum, ten words. Posts should also be readable, as in no L337 talk, no random giberish, english is encouraged and recommended seeing that most everybody that will be on this forum speaks and writes even remotely good english. Speaking of writing, well writen posts are highly encouraged. Post containing nothing but smiley's are alo considered spam. Also, try not to wander off topic too much. It's okay to wander off a bit, but not too much. Also, it's welcome for other members to inform others about wandering off, but that job is usually reserved for the staff.

3. Personnal information
Do not post personnal information like real names. This is for safety reasons. I'll allow the sharing of first names, age and gender but that's it.

4. Insults
This is sort of like swearing, but it doesn't necessarily mean the same thing. Personnal insults are frowned upon by me and the rest of the staff. Insults can and will result in, depending on severity, a warn via personnal message, to temporary ban, to even permanent ban if it doesn't cease. No racist or sexist remarks will be tolerted and can and most likely will result in permanent ban.

5. Avatars
Avatars must not exceed the size limit of 200 pixels in height and 150 pixels in width. These are also linked to the pictures rule. Nothing obscene, nothing vulgar, nothing pornographic, nothing excessively violent.

6. Reporting
Reporting violations should be done via personnal message to a staff member. Please report any severe violations, and do not be afraid to tell us. That's what we're here for. Do not tell the violator to stop, leave that to the staff. Just report the violation.

7. Most importantly...
Have fun. That's what we (the members and staff) are here for. This is a place to have fun and make friends.

Remember, there's a "Report" button for reporting posts. If ever anyone posts inappropriate content or spams, either send me or any staff member a PM or report said post.
